College of Deans

The College of Deans provides the opportunity for the Deans of Church of England cathedrals, and the Deans of St George’s Chapel, Windsor and Westminster Abbey, to meet to discuss matters of mutual interest and to provide support and assistance to each other.

There is an annual residential conference which is hosted by a different cathedral or cathedrals each year. The deans also meet twice a year in London.

The Conference appoints a Chairman (the Dean of Leicester, the Very Rev’d David Monteith) and a Treasurer (the Dean of Bradford, the Very Rev’d Jerry Lepine).
