Preparing colourful displays fit for The King and Queen, reflections on contemporary religious art and women in scripture through paintings and poems, and services for Easter and Holy Week on the BBC.

The BBC’s programming for Easter includes Easter Sunday Worship live from Canterbury Cathedral on BBC Radio 4, where the Right Reverend Rose Hudson Wilkin, Bishop of Dover, will preach an Easter message of hope and resurrection.
New series, Gareth Malone’s Messiah follows the choirmaster as he stages his own performance of this popular choral piece in Cardiff’s Llandaff Cathedral.
And there’s a festive Choral Evensong for Easter Day on BBC Radio 3 from Newcastle Cathedral with celebratory music by Howells, Paulus, and Vaughan Williams, sung by the cathedral choir.
Truro Cathedral invites children to be creative and reveals new Stations of the Cross
New artwork depicting the Stations of the Cross were unveiled for the first time this weekend in Truro Cathedral.
Judith Tutin is a contemporary religious artist living in Cornwall and her work is in places of worship in Ireland and the UK.
Viewers of all faiths and none, are invited to contemplate this story through viewing the 14 pieces during this season. There is no charge to see the exhibition and it is available until 26 April.
Schools across the Diocese have also taken part in a creative Easter competition on the theme of ‘Creative Crosses’.
Entries from this year’s competition can be found on display in the Nave of Truro Cathedral until 25 April
And on April 17, there is an afternoon of Lent and Easter poetry in the Chapter House.
Organised by the local Mothers’ Union, there will be refreshments – and cake of course!
