More Than a Building, Jeremy – Chichester Cathedral

Jeremy – RAF pilot, team leader, cathedral guide.

Jeremy Mudford has been a volunteer and an active part of the Chichester Cathedral community for over 20 years.

He is currently Team Leader for the 151 ‘Welcomers’ at Chichester – the largest volunteering team at the Cathedral – as well as being part of the Learning and Engagement team and a Cathedral Guide.

After a busy working life in the RAF and the City, Chichester Cathedral brought Jeremy a new focus in retirement and unexpectedly brought love too, as he met his wife whilst volunteering.

And in his spare time Jeremy likes to be airborne, regularly flying an aeroplane in the skies over Sussex.
