The longest running of the BBC’s outside broadcasts, Choral Evensong is transmitted LIVE every Wednesday at 15:30. And has done so since 1926 albeit at different times and on different days.
The Anglican service is broadcast from various cathedrals, chapels and churches across the UK.
Sometimes the BBC broadcast the service from overseas and from Catholic cathedrals where it is referred to as Choral Vespers.
