Meet multi-tasker Sandra who helps with many aspects of cathedral life including the toddler group, stewarding, refreshments, maintenance, warden, server….you name it; she does it.

Sandra, a former worker at Land Rover, has helped at Birmingham Cathedral since 2015 after retiring as a verger at a local church. Sandra was a verger for 20 years so understands the day to day running of cathedral life.

She prides herself in being able to give something back in appreciation for the volunteers who helped her in the past. Sandra makes the cathedral so much #morethanabuilding.
