St Paul’s Cathedral Choir and Chorus perform Handel’s glorious and world-famous oratorio with the City of London Sinfonia.
Messiah reflects on the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus as foretold in Scripture. Though often performed at Christmas, Messiah was first performed in Eastertide and is fitting for the Season of Lent, during which we prepare to celebrate the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus our Saviour.
