The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, the UK’s premier all male theatre company – with direct links to the history of William Shakespeare – invite you to join them this summer for their production of the brilliant tragedy, Macbeth.
Nestling up to the south wall of the Cathedral are the Cloisters, once a very important place in the life of Peterborough Abbey and its monastic community. With the marks of history all around you, this sheltered south-facing space is a wonderful setting for outdoor theatre.
NB Please bring your own low-backed seating. No tables are permitted. Sun hats, sun cream, sunglasses, raincoats and rain hats should all be considered!
