Chelmsford Cathedral marks The National Day of Reflection in a day of special events for the community to pause, reflect and remember and to support the millions of people who’ve been bereaved during the pandemic.
The Cathedral grounds will be open throughout the day, offering the chance to light a candle and to write the name of a much-missed loved-one on a postcard, to leave in our memorial space. These cards will be made into a Wall of Remembrance at a later date. A specially designed and printed prayer card will also be available to take home.
The National Day of Refection was started by national charity Marie Curie to acknowledge the devastating effect of the last two years.
