Rest Under The Stars, returns to Carlisle Cathedral this summer. The Cathedral will be transformed once again into a peaceful spot for stargazing – with deckchairs, scatter cushions and a new bespoke soundscape to listen to.
The immersive installation will be open every day, except Sundays. Rest Under the Stars is on a journey through Cumbria beginning in Carlisle Cathedral and then visiting communities across the county. We will work with local charity Prism Arts to explore the sights and sounds of the journeys. Rest Under the Stars will bring all of this together and return to the county’s Cathedral in the summer of 2024, as we experience this unique exploration of our Cumbrian Journeys.
