Emma Davies

Emma Davies qualified as a solicitor and began her career as a prosecutor in the Crown Prosecution Service. Her career in the field of criminal justice continued through three further government departments in a variety of roles, including programme management, communications and organisational change.

Emma joined the Ministry of Defence in 2009, driving forward a programme of sales and outsourcing by various of the companies it owned. In 2012, Emma became Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Defence before studying for an MA in International Relations and Security at the Royal College of Defence Studies. Her final role as a civil servant was as Director of People Change in Defence Personnel.

In 2015, Emma was appointed as Registrar of St Paul’s Cathedral. She joined the CAFA Executive committee in July 2020 and was appointed as the CAFA Executive’s second representative on the AEC Executive in November 2020.
